ABOUT ME
I am a specialist Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist trained at the British Psychotherapy Foundation in London. With over 15 years experience working in the NHS and educational settings, I offer assessments, treatment and consultations to children, adolescents and their families. I use my understanding of child development to explore the possible causes of emotional distress and to offer support for the families as well as the young people experiencing difficulties. In my work I use the young person's own interests and incorporate aspects of play, art and music where appropriate, to help connect with them and help them explore their own experiences through work in those media.
